  1. This is a personal pet peeve of mine. The “K” in newer spellings of magic come from Aleister Crowley trying to get the word “magic” to fit his gematria. It did *not* arise to separate the difference between stage magic and sorcery. Crowley just fucked up spelling for no good reason imo. It’s nice to see someone knows it came from Crowley tho

  2. Magic is what turns pumpkins into horse drawn carriages and frogs into princes.

    Magick is what causes that dream job to suddenly come out of the blue or what annihilates your ex because you sent an intranquil spirit after them.

    I just see the two as a cultural thing. One is the fairy tale version and other is the real life, gritty one.
